As is known to all, electricity is a kind of energy form, which is economical and practical, easy to clean and easy to transport, control and convert. With the development of society and economy, power users’ demand for power quality is improving. Therefore, high-performance power grid digital wave record device is the base of researching and improving power quality and the premise of strong smart grid’s construction. Fault wave record system can realize the electrical equipment running status monitoring, fault data recording and analysis. The effective utilization and comprehensive analysis of wave record action record is applied to the analysis of the cause of the accident, the defect of diagnostic equipment, so as to improve the system stability. Therefore, it is very necessary for fault wave record system to record all parameters of the electric power operation equipment in real-time, completely and accurately.As a result, this paper main research work includes:① This paper discusses the current status quo and development trend of digital wave record device, and analyzes the domestic and international power quality standards specified in the typical power quality events and testing methods of the boundary conditions; At the same time, summarize the characters and functions of the smart grid high-performance digital wave record device.② Through the fault analysis of power system transformer phase, according to the basic principle of symmetrical component method in the power system, established the overall design scheme of high performance digital wave record system, at the same time, completed the overall design.③ Based on ARM microprocessor S3C2440 chip as the core, make the high performance of digital wave record system hardware circuit, design the signal conditioning module, detect control module, communication module, data storage module and power module.④ Using ARM’s latest integrated development environment Real View MDK development tools in the integration of the latest version of the Keil mu Vision4, developed software and communication software of fault wave recorder.⑤ To conduct functional testing of the fault wave record, verify the signal conditioning circuit, detect the function of the control circuit, communication circuit and power supply circuit implementation, present the corresponding waveform and data.
