Research On The External Transport Supporting System Of The Pedestrian Areae

Starting with the research on the formation and development of Pedestrian Street/ Shopping Mall, this thesis principally analyses social benefits, economical returns, environmental benefits, the traffic issue, etc. of the Pedestrian Street and its advantages of planning. Then it briefly summarizes the principles of designing a satisfactory traffic system, a good image of space environment, plentiful space forms and unique scenery formation of the Pedestrian Street.
