The culture mentioned above effects all aspects of the society, and traditional houses are unexceptional of course. With the rapid development of politics, economics and culture, traditional houses which are called "container of history and culture" also face severe changes.Erecting is an important procedure in the course of building houses. It's not only the process of generating space, but also an important social activity in villages. Based on the investigation of erecting in Dali, this paper researches on this kind of activity in the aspect of technique.
