Aiming at the problems that exist in maintenance decision of chemical water treatment system for power plant, this paper put forward a condition based maintenance decision method based on RCM. By FMEA and fault mode risk analysis based on fuzzy reasoning, the main fault modes of chemical water treatment system for power plant is determined, the characteristic parameters using for evaluating the system condition are extracted, and the maintenance modes of all equipment are decided. With a view to maintenance, the monitoring parameters and monitoring sites of chemical water treatment system for power plant are determined. Aiming at the complexity and uncertainty of system characteristic information, a system condition evaluation method based on evidence reasoning is put forward, and the condition evaluation of chemical water treatment system for power plant is realized. For the seriously degraded subsystems, a fault diagnosis method based on rough set theory is used for dealing with the problem of redundant or incomplete information, then fault finding and locating are realized accurately. At last, a condition based maintenance decision support system for chemical water treatment system for power plant is designed, can make a support for realizing the condition based maintenance decision finally.
