Recently, china's railway department pay more attention to railway traffic safety than before, and the comprehensive capability of railway drivers are increasingly high required. Vocational skill test and psychological test were used in the recruiting of railway driver. Besides these two tests, Ministry Of Railways also adopted structured interview and job adaptability test in the selection for drivers of 200-kilometre motor vehicle group. But the increased test items also bring some new problems to employment department. Different items should have different weight in these tests.Which items are more important? Employment department hope that they could have a scientific method or system which analyse results of all the test items and get directly an overall evaluation. These results not only reflect the score level of testee, but also clearly reflect their safety grades. Only by this way, we can comprehensively evaluate the safety level of railways driver.The author established the safety evaluation system of railway driver by Delphi Method, and notarized the weight of items by Analytic Hierarchy Process. Then, the author established a quantitative evaluation model by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, Finally, the model was gave an example for in practice.
