Water conservancy is the foundation of national economy,and sluice is an important part of water conservancy project,playing an important role in flood control,tide holding,drainage,irrigation,water supply and other aspects.By 2018,China had built 104,403 sluices(5m3/s above),most of which are small-sized and medium-sized sluices.Once the water conservancy project fails,it will bring immeasurable losses to the downstream people’s lives and property.Therefore,it is necessary to make a comprehensive and objective evaluation of the safety characteristics of sluice in a timely manner,and a scientific and reasonable evaluation method is particularly important.Based on the analysis of the existing problems of Jiaogang North sluice project,a set of multi-index and multi-level safety evaluation index system is constructed,and the weight of indexes is calculated by improved analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method.A safety evaluation model is established based on the grey system theory to analyze the safety state of sluice.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The general situation of the project of Jiaogang North sluice is introduced,and the safety status of the sluice is preliminarily understood by combining the on-site safety detection and stability check calculation.(2)According to the problems found in the field test and the contents of the safety check calculation,the paper focuses on the analysis of the uneven settlement of Jiaogang North sluice.The finite element analysis software ANSYS is used to analyze the internal forces and displacements of each structure under different working conditions,and the causes and harmfulness of the uneven settlement of Jiaogang North Sluice are discussed.(3)The safety evaluation index system of Jiaogang North sluice is constructed,and the weight is determined by the improved analytic hierarchy process based on the proportional scale method,finally the weight of each safety evaluation index is obtained.(4)The safety evaluation method of sluice is studied,and the application of gray theory in safety evaluation is emphatically studied.The gray analytic hierarchy process based on gray theory is selected to evaluate The North sluice of Jiaogang Port,and the comprehensive safety evaluation value is calculated to determine the safety grade of the project.The final comprehensive safety evaluation value of Jiaogang North sluice is 3.301,according which it can be rated as "healthy" according to the classification table.The research result is consistent with the actual safety appraisal result of Jiaogang North sluice,which proves the feasibility and accuracy of the method to evaluate the comprehensive safety characteristics of sluice.
