The brake system performance is one of the vehicle's main function. It directly has a bearing on the traffic safety, the serious accidents always relate to the too long brake distance, wheel brake with emergency brake and then led to sideslip, swing or lose direction stability. Anti-Braking lock System can automatically adjust brake line pressure when the brake happens, and lead no wheel braking lock, it is an automatic regulation system which can improve the vehicle running stability and its brake safety. Anti-Braking lock System can improve the vehicle safety and it has obvious social benefits and economic benefits.This paper studies the vehicle ABS operating principle and analysis its operating process. It searches out all kinds of factors which influence the vehicle ABS property. Meanwhile, it analyses and compares several kinds of the current control technique on ABS , and summarizes its advantages and disadvantages. According to the controller intelligent property, both Fuzzy Control and Neural Networks Control belong to the intelligent control domain. What's more, the two types control laws are important and effective in achieving the intelligent control. The two controller both can approximate nonlinear function with arbitrary accuracy. On the base of further analysis the Fuzzy Control and Neural Networks Control, the thesis explores design methods of vehicle ABS intelligent controller.This paper has a theoretical analysis on the two types controller system model, structures and control arithmetic methods. It designs the Fuzzy Controller and Neural Networks Controller according to the vehicle's simple single wheel mathematical model. It still does the simulation analysis ABS control system under the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. In the light of this analysis, it concludes that the two types controller both can be applied in the vehicle ABS.
