With the quickly development of highway transportation in our country, the advantages of semi-trailer train are becoming realized. Semi-trailer train has played an important role in highway transportation. The semi-trailer train has a lot of advantages in highway transportation. Such as their trainload is big and cost is low etc. But, because of the configuration of semi-trailer train, the braking stability of semi-trailer train is very boring. When semi-trailer train is braking, snaking, whipping, sideslip, and other dangerous working condition always appear. A lot of serious traffic accident broke up because of this. Semi-trailer train's trainload is bigger and bigger, velocity is faster and faster, The problem of braking stability of semi-trailer train is needed to be settled urgently. This is very important to semi-trailer train's ride safety.Virtual simulation technology is a CAE technique. Virtual simulation technology can simplify development process greatly, cut development cycle consumedly, reduce the development cost largely and enhance product quality. Virtual simulation software ADAMS was used to set up a simulation model in this article, and braking stability of semi-trailer train was analyzed by the model.This article major in follow works about braking stability of semi-trailer train.1. Braking stability of semi-trailer train was analyzed theoretically. Include optimization of braking force distribution of semi-trailer train,the influence of braking force distribution on lock braking subsequence and braking stability of semi-trailer train. Work conditions of curving brake were also introduced.2. Virtual simulation software ADAMS was used to set up dynamics models including chassis model, suspension model, steering system model, tire model, road model, chain joint model etc.3. The simulation was used to analyze braking stability of semi-trailer train including braking effectiveness analysis, curving brake stability analysis and the effect of scale valve was also taken into account.The research is valuable to improve braking stability and enhance ride safety of semi-trailer train. The research is also valuable to reduce traffic accident caused by braking stability of semi-trailer train and cut down the lost of peoples.
