Short Pier Shear Wall Structures is a structure system in progress, which is based on special-shaped column and shear wall. It can reduce the cost of the structure, while ensuring the basic functions. So, it has been extensively adopted in the light steel structure for residential building. However, the theoretical investigation is in the groping step and lacking systemic research. Analyses on the influence about axial load ratio of Short Pier Shear Wall structure are not systemic.Controlling axial load ratio of Short Pier Shear Wall is the foundation of the way to keep good ductility of structure. It is of great significant to study the axial load ratio of Short Pier Shear Wall. Nowadays, domestic scholars do little job on the controlling axial load ratio of Short Pier Shear Wall. Basing on the theoretical analysis and lots of testing date, according to assume of the concrete structure design specification, predictor formula of 'T' shape section Short Pier Shear Wall and limit value of 'T' shape section Short Pier Shear Wall which can keep some Ductility on the structure are gained .at the same time some researches on influence and correlation of axial load ratio, some advice on the actual project is achieved.The thesis analysis in detail the effect of the axial load ratio and shear span ratio on Short Pier Shear Wall Structures. Compared computational result with experimental data, the mathematical expressions of capacity on oblique section has been amended.The concept of the limitative axial load ratio has been proposed to judge compressed status. Moreover, the mathematical expressions of capacity on cross-section and oblique section have been amended, which can be adopted in the design of construction.
