This paper discusses the key technology and the necessary tools of motor fault diagnosis on characteristics and principle. Base on these, this paper describes the realization ways on hardware and software and the basic knowledge about DSP and DeviceNet. The main works of this paper are as follows:First, this paper describes the typical frequencies and their relevant amplitude of motor faults on its stator current, gets the conclusion that the key technology being picking-up, analyzing and transmitting of the typical signals, refers DSP is more useful tool in picking-up and analyzing signals and DeviceNet is a better way of transmitting signals.And then, the DeviceNet specification is studied and discussed carefully. The DeviceNet specification is a set of perfectly and logically protocol, and can be used in kinds of different fields. This paper researches the using of data picking-up and transmitting. This paper recapitulates the basic knowledge of TMS320F2812 and ucOS.TMS320F2812 with CAN controller chip was selected to realize the DeviceNet specification, and the PCA82C250 CAN transceiver was used for connecting to the DeviceNet bus. Many ways were used to protect this equipment from ESD. This paper realizes the DeviceNet specification and FFT with C language on DSP.Finally, the paper gives the test method and result of the DeviceNet slave node which was development by us and an abstract description for the development of the DeviceNet filedbus products.
