This dissertation uses the upto date basalt fiber as reinforcement , and use it to altermate the steel reinforcement . This dissertation mainly studies pull behavior and flexural behavior of basalt fiber- reinforced polymer , also studies flexural behavior and Reinforce behavior of concrete beams with basalt fiber- reinforced polymer .It simulates the flexural behavior of concrete beams.Basalt FRP reinforcement have two characteristics of short-term mechanical behavior compared to steel bars: (1) Tensile stress-strain curve is close to a straight line and have no yield point; (2) The young's modulus is about one third of that of steel bars.Based on these characteristics ,12 simple-supported beams reinforced with Basalt FRP reinforcement and 4 destroyed beams needs to reinforced The diameter and ratio and design grade of concrete are concerned in experiment ,and cracking load ,ultimate load ,load-deflection curve ,development of crack ,and increase ratio of reinforced beams.Nonlinear analysis for one fiber reinforced polymer confined reinforced concrete beam is carried out by using the large general structural analysis software ADINA as well as the constitutive models of concrete and reinforcement and fiber reinforced polymer. The properties of their element and the models of FEA are discussed and some advice and ideals are given, and the calculation values in ADINA are compared with the test values. The results indicates that the precision of model is high which provides a new method and approach to simulate the mechanic capability of reinforced concrete, which has practical value.
