In the thesis, the deflection of externally prestressed concrete simple-supported beam is researched. At the present time, the influencing factors are not all considered when the deflection of beam is calculated. At present, the deflection research of externally prestressed concrete beam need be developed. In the thesis, the influencing factors are considered wholly. The relation between the influencing factors and the deflection is researched. In the thesis, the calculated method about deflection is obtained when external force, externally prestressing force, the quadratic effect of externally prestressing force, concrete shrinkage and concrete creep are considered. The outcome of deflection calculation is more accurate through applying method which is obtained in the thesis. In the thesis, the program for calculating deflection is completed. A kind of method which can quickly and accurately get the deflection of externally prestressed concrete simple-supported beam is obtained in the thesis.
