Based on the shortage of common rubber bearing, this paper develops a SMA thread-rubber composite bearing, and carries shaking table test and ANSYS simulation on it to exert its superiority. First, do material test on the selective SMA thread, after showing its pseudo-elasticity, aiming at lower resilience and damp of common rubber bearing, through lying SMA thread around rubber bearing, this paper design such composite bearing. After taking the shaking table test of common rubber bearing and this composite bearing, we get the F-X curve of different horizontal shearing transformations of two bearings, then progress contrast and analysis in energy-consume capability,maximum resilience,equivalent horizontal stiffness and damping ratio, through these data showing composite bearing's superiority over common rubber bearing. At the same time, utilize ANSYS to analyze the seismic isolation research on the steel frame structure with SMA thread-rubber composite bearing, and make time-history analysis of fixed bearing,common rubber bearing and this composite bearing under the effect of two earthquake, thus we get the superiority of this composite bearing, and take prospect on the next research.
