| Stereo Lithography Apparatus (SLA) is one of the most widely used rapid prototyping technology in the domestic and foreign. It plays an increasingly important role in product design and assessment, functional testing and fast pattern making. The choice of manufacture process parameters directly affects the quality and size precision of the workpiece. This paper is based on ultraviolet light rapid prototyping Machine CPS350 UV which is made in China. On the basis of theoretical analysis, a lot of experimental investigations about molding accuracy and mechanical strength of SLA are carried through.This paper discusses the mechanism of SLA, studies liquid level undulation, molding direction, and postcure time effect the precision of SLA, analyzes the convergence angle, spot diameter compensation, ladder error and wracking how effect the size precision and surface roughness. Through experiment obtain reasonable parameters, improve the size precision and surface precision of SLA, and bring forward some effective measures for reducing the warpage of SLA parts.Along with the development of technology, the SLA products are directly used by customers. Therefore the mechanical strength of the SLA workpiece became more important. There are many factors effect the mechanical strength including the characteristic of curable resin, ambient temperature, laser power, post-processing of workpiece and process parameters.In this paper makes the tensile strength, compressive strength and bending strength as measuring guidelines, designs and carries on five factors four levels orthogonal experiments. Uses variance analysis method to study the scanning space, the layer thickness, the scanning velocity, the molding direction and scanning method to find how they affect the workpiece's mechanical strength. In a certain extent produces the optimal process parameters of SLA which can be a guidance to the application of SLA. |
