Recently, with the rapid development of China's automobile industry and significant increase in vehicle ownership, vehicle inspection and test technology gets great progress. Vehicle Testing Equipment, improving in function and quality, is developing towards to intelligence,digitalization and portability. Four-wheel alignment, as a basic equipment of vehicle inspection and test is also the core equipment to measure and calibrate the parameter of wheel alignment. At present, domestic equipments are less competitive than the imported in performance and maneuverability, what's more, the imported is more expensive and less convenient in customer service. Therefore, developing a four-wheel alignment with good performance and full function seems to be not only of theoretical significance, but also of good market prospect.Based on deep study on traditional four-wheel alignment parameter testing theory and practical measurement and analysis, combined with the demand of domestic automotive and repair trade and working circumstance, a project in use of PSD measurement,bluetooth communication and database managing customer is proposed. The PSD measurement with a simple principle and high precision is widely used in four-wheel alignment. The Bluetooth, used in alignment, not only improve the system stability, but also reduce interface caused by practical circumstance. The usage of database makes the vehicle choice and update and management of customer convenient to improve the working efficiency.After comparison and analysis of key device, based on stable and suitable chip, hardware of alignment including PSD and inclinator signal processing circuit,keyboard,charging circuit of NI-H battery with great volume and electricity capacity supervising circuit are designed. Consulting other product and combining technical advice, host computer procedure with easy operation and friendly interface, realizing dynamic management of customer and vehicle style information by database. Through deep analysis, suitable mathematic model is also set up to ensure the correctness of measurement.Through the site-testing, the designed four-wheel alignment is proved to be stable, precise,of lower cost and of easy operation, authorized by the technical support.
