Theoretical Study Of Building A Water-saving Society And The Practices In Jiangsu

Realization of a resource-saving, environment-friendly society are China's future direction. Promoting water-saving society is an important part of building a conservation-minded society. Conducting a study on building a water-saving society, has great significance on the realization of the sustainable use of water resources and the promotion of sustainable economic and social development. In this paper, based on the analysis of water resources in Jiangsu, and the connotation and the key points of building a water-saving society, and domestic and abroad research results on water-saving society, from the demands of economic and social development, the importance and urgency of building a water-saving society in Jiangsu Province are argued and proved; the main initiatives and concrete measures of the three major carriers in building a water-saving society are studied, the five major security measures of three carriers in building a water-saving society are discussed, the concrete practices of building a water-saving society in Jiangsu Province are systematically summed up, the effective measures of the three major carriers, agriculture, industry and urban construction in Jiangsu are analysed. Eventually, systematic summary of the research results of this paper is carried out and advices on building a water-saving society in Jiangsu are put forward.
