The history of using tied-arch bridge has a quite long time. Because it is very complicated no matter what in design or in construction that is necessary specialize in connection area of the beam and arch for using the reinforced concrete tied-arch bridge on double line train for the first time in our country. It is necessary also to verify the design and calculated of the midspan cross section and the arch-rib changed cut-off section and provide basis for design and apply at the same time.This paper presents the different arranging style of beam and arch and suspender which are the main parts of the reinforced concrete tied-arch bridge. It is brief the analysis of the mechanical behaviors of each type. It focus on discuss mechanical features and experience research method in connection area of the reinforced concrete tied-arch bridge. In this paper there is analysis of the model experience of the connection area of the beam and arch of the Chen-du especially long grade separation bridge on the third circle road. It also introduces the experience and calculation of the midspan cross section and the arch-rib changed cut-off section. It gives the results of the structure calculation by using finite-element method in common use. It advanced some conclusions and suggestions at last.
