With the development of industry and the exhaustion of the mineral resources, structural decline , functional decline and materiality have appeared in some mining industrial cities, even some mining industrial areas have already become abandoned.The article analyses the relations between the thought of "the sustainable development" , which has swept acoss the entire world ,and the regeneration of the mining industrial cities' landscape as well as the correlative concepts.From the views of the landscape aesthetic thoughts, the landscape ethics and the landscape environment design the author elaborates the modern landscape plan theory enlightens the regeneration of the mining industrial cities' landscape, furthermore, based on the feeling of the landscape construction, the ecosystem plan and the reorganization of the recuperative space, ie "the three elments of the landscape", in detail explores the concrete methods for regenerating the mining industrial cities' landscape.
