Antennas are on the satellite that is a suit of very complex electromagnetic compatibility system, which need to take many reasons into account. One of these reasons is coupling of electromagnetic field among of antennas, if we can not perfectly solve the coupling problems of antennas, it will become hidden danger and influence normal work of the whole satellite system.In this paper, the author combines some researches which are about antennas on aero,antennas on automobile and antennas on battleship system, and which have been researched by predecessor for some years. Firstly, the author builds up a similar system mode which is composed of some antennas, that is we can place two or some dipole antennas on a finite metallic plane, based on the Matlab toolbox, and we can use genetic algorithm to optimize this problem and acquire reasonable and correct position coordinates of every antenna. Genetic algorithm can change the position coordinates of antenna by the genetic operator,crossover operator and mutation operator, and we can acquire a lot of antenna placement plans, so we optimize the antenna placement problem, and validate that genetic algorithm has correctness and effectiveness in the antenna placement problem, as it can provide an opinion and analytic method in many antennas system.Secondly, the author imitated the actual antenna installation on the satellite to make many experiments. According to the theory of antenna and electromagnetic, I simulated the helix antenna which is common antenna on the satellite, and I acquire the preferable result and made different circular polarization helix antenna. I used circular polarization helix antenna and linear polarization horn antenna (which is provided by lab) do a lot of experiments for many situation, for example, different polarization mode,different distance between antennas and metallic body among antennas, and I acquire some valuable data. These data indicate every situation has effect on coupling between antennas and which situation has much contribution to coupling. These data and result can provide proposition and have guided action on the practical work, and they can provide how to use polarization and metallic body reduce the coupling.
