Based on the background of inter-system electromagnetic compatibility application,we study the effects of communication vehicle carrier and ground environment on theantenna radiation characteristics by establishing efficient and precise simulation model. Theinfluence rules of communication vehicle carrier and ground environment on the antennaradiation characteristics are investigated. The electromagnetic coupling mathematicalstatistical models in typical ground environment conditions are built based on the measureddata, which shows great value in analyzing antenna performance under complicatedelectromagnetic environment and supporting EMC forecasting.The communication vehicle carrier and ground environment will have an importanteffect on antenna performance in complicated electromagnetic environment, which isdifferent from the vacuum. Establishing an integrative model combining antenna,communication vehicle carrier, and ground environment is useful to improve simulationprecision, and can also be used to guide engineering practice. The rapid and real-timeprediction of electromagnetic compatibility problems can be realised by theelectromagnetic coupling mathematical statistical models built based on the measured data.In this paper, an accurate communication vehicle carrier simulation model and anequivalent ground environment model in terms of medium electrical parameters are builtwith the use of simulation software FEKO. The influence rules of communication vehiclecarrier and ground environment on the antenna performance are discussed in details.Further more, the effects of antenna locations, erecting height, and erecting angle on theantenna radiation properties are also analyzed. Finally, we discuss and establish theelectromagnetic coupling mathematical statistical models under the condition of typicalground environments. All this work establishes the foundations for the consequent EMCresearch.
