In 1950s, Beijing Subway circular lines were paved, and have been expanding in recent years. During the process of building, the construction of information systems is proceeding. However, due to the diversity of ages and heterogeneity, the information systems faces difficulty when it needs to alternate with other peers data, which will become a serious problem especially in the moment that an integrated decision in need. Now each information system is independent, forming isolated information islands. This thesis describes a new type of information exchange platform to solve theses problems. This thesis's research begins with a survey among all kinds of information system under use, including requirement and content of different information exchange, present distribution situation, distribution characteristic and so on. Requirement and objective on Beijing information exchange platform construction are generalized as follow: we propose an information-independent system, which is a decoupling middleware platform and can adapt to heterogeneity, changing and entering or quitting of new information system. This thesis presents The Beijing Subway information exchange platform based on ESB (Enterprise Service Bus). This platform is implemented by ESB as a core technique of EAI and JMS middleware as core technology of system architecture. It also implements asynchronous message exchange mechanism. XML serves as inter-exchange format definition technology among different information system while XSLT completes exchange process among different formats of information systems. The whole system is supported by multi-thread architecture. On the basis of proposed software platform, we made a data specification for Beijing Subway Information Systems. The platform was implemented and delivered. During the trial of running, it performs well and achieves all the requirements.
