The straits of the staple freight flow in our country railroads are that the direction and the flux are obvious and stable. As the social economy develops, the demand on the freight transportation is blooming increasingly. However, the increasing demand conflicts with the actuality of the capacity deficiency in our country railroads. The direct transportation in loading area is one of the most rational and basic way to the staple freight transportation, which has advantages of abating the scarcity of the rail transportation capacity, boosting the turnover of the materials, decreasing the transportation cost and so on, so it's a necessary choice to optimize the train formation plan for loading area, which is a tactic significance on sustaining, harmonious and fast development of national economy.This paper addresses the direct train formation plan problem for loading area. It begins with determining the benefit standard of direct transportation, and then analyzes the cost of the flow in loading area, traveling course and unloading area. The direct train formation plan problem for loading area has been formulated as a nonlinear 0-1 programming based on discussing the constraints of flow organization exclusivity and block capacity at loading stations. The objective of this model is to minimize the total cost for the freight from concentrating at loading area to unloading at unloading area. This model considers the classification strategy for all O-D pairs in loading area in great detail, regards the heavy haul transportation as a special form of direct transportation, combined with the straits of the heavy haul train. Further, this paper primarily discusses the optimal strategy for the ladder direct train formation and the direct train formation in loading base, and constructs a model for the optimal strategy for the direct train originated from several adjoining loading points, combined a simulated instance for the model. Moreover, this paper specially analyzes the transshipment and benefit of heavy haul transportation. Train formation plan for loading area and for technical stations should match each other, which can bring the greatest benefit.This paper discusses the optimization of car flow organization for loading area, which is based on previous study on the optimization of the organization scheme for the initiating direct train, combines the respective characters of direct train initiating from loading area, direct train originated from several adjoining loading points, direct train from loading base and the heavy haul transportation, finally constructs correlative...
