ABSTRACT:The straits of the staple freight in our country railroads in future are that the direction is stable and the flux is increasing year by year. To meet the rising demand on the freight transportation and compete with the developing rival such as highway transportation, the railway transportation department must improve the car flow organization and the train operation mode. The direct train transportation and the heavy haul transportation are the development direction of railway freight transportation, so it's very important to study on the initiating direct train formation plan for loading area and the direct heavy haul train formation for technical stations.The current train formation plan which are drawn up by the direct train formation plan for loading area and the direct heavy haul train formation for technical stations separately violates the car flow principle, because that the direct train formation plan for loading area and the direct heavy haul train formation for technical stations are integrated. At the same time, the proportion between the direct heavy haul services and the normal services is not taken into account when arranging the work task for marshalling yards in the current car flow organization theory. It will influence the operation of the high-quality heavy haul train. Therefore, how to math the direct train formation plan for loading area and the direct heavy haul train formation for technical stations need to be studied further in theory and practice systematically.This paper constructs the simultaneous quadratic 0-1 programming model by mending the quadratic 0-1 programming model of the direct train for loading area, which is based on previous study on the optimization of train formation plan, and then constructs the optimization model for direct heavy haul train services selection by analyzing the costs and benefits of the operation of direct heavy haul train. As a result, this paper forms a method of matching the direct train formation plan for loading area and the direct heavy haul train formation for technical stations. Finally, this paper gives a numerical example, which proves the effectiveness of the model, and interprets its specialty and applicability.The study in this paper further enriches the optimization theory of train formation plan for loading area and for technical stations, possesses academic value and practical significance to a certain degree.
