Our country constituted the newest confine code of vehicle product to reduce social harm that caused by the noise. The vehicle factory put forward higher request to the components noise of component factory. It is the effective means to improve market competitive power that controls the product noise. The vibration and noise of compressor for automotive air conditioner influence the amenity of automotive badly. Therefore, it is a urgency problem to study on compressor vibration and noise for automobile air condition. There are kinds of compressor for automotive air condition, such as piston type,cam-type,rotary vane type and swirl type, thereinto, rotary vane compressor has been become the main compressor for automotive air condition because of the merit of small cubic,high efficiency and installment convenience. But the vibration and noise of rotary vane compressor was prevalent, and it is little to study on the filed, mostly with experiment method to analyze.With the experiment of noise source identification, exhaust hole is the main source of compressor, and the noise is the main aerodynamic noise. High temperature and high pressure exhaust is discharged from exhaust hole, and produces periodicity pressure pulsation noise and air current jet noise, at the same time, it excitated other components'vibration and noise, such as vibration and noise of valve plate,shell. Using the vibration and noise testing soft(B&K) of Danmark and portable type vibration and noise testing soft(HEAD-ArtemiS) of German to test the compressor. The compressor noise is main the exhaust noise by the method of sound pressure testing,spectrum analyzing,total value analyzing,array spectrum analyzing and near field testing. The mechanical noise influences the compressor noise greater at higher speed. By analyzing sound attenuation characteristic of minipore-muffler and flow field characteristic of compressor exhaust hole, designing a minipore-muffler and obtaining the best installation site of minipore-muffler. The compressor noise was reduced obviously after the minipore-muffler was installed, the noise was reduced 12.6dBA at the speed of 1200r/min. At the same time, the vibration of compressor was reduced 40%.With studying on compressor performance and sound quality evaluation after the minipore-muffler was installed.
