In this paper, combined the advanced computer control technology with the configuration technique, the real-time system of inspect & control is researched to apply on oil flowmeter auto-calibration, based on the main theory of flow measurement. According to the demand of flow control in the system, Flow control method of frequency conversion adjusting the speed is confirmed, after analyzed and compared the flow control theory and control method. Uncertainty of the system is evaluated by the demand of the precision in the system and the evaluation method of uncertainty. Some measurements of fireproof and anti-explosion are brought forward according to the demand of the security and the stability in the system. This system adopts the ADAM5000 & I/O module as the subordinate computer to control electric equipments to adapt the demand of this task. At the same time the Configurable Software is used to realize the configuration of the system. The feasibility of this plan is validated further by the actual work of the system.Abundant theoretical knowledge is well applied to the practical project in this paper. From selecting instruments, designing control system and debugging to the configuration of control system, the actual automatic facility system is obtained for calibrating the positive displacement oil flowmeter based on standard flowmeter method.
