The deformation of the roadbed founded on the soft soil mainly induced by the softness of the soil, and it is always an important topic to construct high-level road on this foundation. Instability and magnitude subsidence can be generated due to the incapacity of the foundation and some effective engineering measures must be taken. The reinforcement mechanism and the related methods of design and construction of the-impact-smashing-pile are recommended in the thesis. The measurements to improve the working mechanism of the soft foundation are addressed firstly. The bearing capacity and stability can be evaluated by using the-impact-smashing-pile to reinforce the foundation and uneven settlement can be reduced and it can meet the requirement of the highway engineering.Secondly, the design theory of using the-impact-smashing-pile to reinforce foundation is discussed elaborately. To meet the requirement, the principal and parameters are decided according to the corresponding target parameters and engineering requirement of the-impact-smashing-pile and the soft soil. It shows to be reasonable and economical.In the end, the method of construction and inspection are recommended with the engineering projects. The preparation before construction, the construction techniques and the control during the construction are described in detail. The inspection methods, criterion and requirements of the complex foundation are also recommended fully. It shows using the-impact-smashing-pile to reinforce foundation have the merits of construction simplicity, fastness and economical. It is an reasonable and economical construction technique to reinforce soft foundation.
