Now, the open and reconfigurable CNC system is a new hotspot in industry control field. The system bases on an open platform with modularization structure and allows the user to integrate or select modification or expand function according different demand quickly. The ARM system on the part of the ARM plus DSP controller will be discussed in this thesis. The embedded system can help the controller to promote ability of integration and open. IEC61131-5 provide standard interface for system.The design principle and implement scheme of the embedded system base- on IEC61131-5 standard is expounded in the thesis. The design of the function module and hardware module provides the basic support for the communication service with the standard. The critical questions of Linux system's transplantation are discussed. The principle of boot loader and the way to modify Linux code are analyzed. The point of designing drivers is analyzed and driver's framework is achieved. The programmer and the framework of IEC61131-5 communication service are done and some tests for the system also are finished.The method to implement entire embedded system is depicted in detail. The application scheme of IEC61131—5 standard in embedded system supplies references to the embedded system using in industry control.
