Since the reform and open policy of China, the enterprise of electric power has been developed in a fast speed, however the supply of the electric power still can not fulfill the demand of it. The ratio of the electric power load is low and the gap between the peak load and the valley load is become more is become larger and lager while the electric power can not satisfy the need during the peak load period. The ice storage air conditioning technology is one of the useful methods to solve this problem. With the development of the urban mass transit of China, the energy consumption in the urban transit will increase greatly ,the apply of the ice storage air conditioning technology in the control of system of subway environment will play an important role in the cutting down the difference between the peak load and valley load.This paper analyzes the constitution and the feature of the cooling load of the subway stations, compares the difference of the cooling load between the closed environmental system and the platform screen door environmental system. With a simplified piston wind mathematic mode, the factors that influence the piston are analyzed and through the on field test, the cooling load cause by the piston wind and the cooling load cause by the air exchanges at the entries of the station.With an subway station of the shanghai NO.2 railway line,the feature of its cooling load and the impact of the cooling load feature to the applying of the ice storage air conditioning technology in the subway environment control system was analyzed. An economic analysis model was setup, two controls strategies-ice priority and chiller priority are compared when analyze the best chiller capacity, and the factors of the ice storage proportion, the price of the electricity, the initial cost of the construction to the influence of the applying of the ice storage air conditioning technology in the subway environment control system.
