Thermal storage air conditioning is an important approach to shift electric demand from on-peak electric rate periods to off-peak periods, and a branch of modern air conditioning system. But the economic differences between ice thermal storage air conditioning system and conventional air conditioning system will cause difficulty in widely applying such a project. However, to widen its application, more efforts should be addressed on optimal design of the ice-storage, and experimental research and the technical and economic analysis of ice-storage air conditioning has important theoretical value and practical signification.In this thesis, the basic theory of thermal storage air conditioning technical is presented. First, based on test date of real operation of ice-storage air conditioning, this thesis gave out the demonstration that ice-storage air conditioning is practicable in technical, and the evaluation of the operation of system was also give out. Besides, from the view of engineering economics, get objective function of equipment selection for ice-storage system, and get the optimal equipment selection, in which introduce into uniform annuity and correction coefficient α of designing date load. Finally, combined with a project example, the technical and economic analysis of ice-storage air conditioning gave out the demonstration that ice-storage air conditioning is beneficial in economic.
