High voltage circuit breaker is the key components in power system to guarantee the operation of power system stability. Most faults of circuit breaker is the machinery faults, so study the method of faults diagnose for mechanical parts in circuit breaker is important. Now in domestic most use the off-line routine experience and regular maintenance, this planned maintenance is less purpose, high cost and this will damage the breaker by demolition and installation. The real-time and precise monitoring of the circuit breaker will provide a lot of data of the breaker for we diagnose whether there is faults in breakers. This thesis gives a method of monitoring and faults diagnostics.This thesis mainly gives out algorithms that extraction the important parameters such as vibration, trip and coil current. Give the predictive methods that calculate the electrical endurance of circuit breaker by circuit breaker's operation current. Compare the parameters after times operation of circuit breaker by comparative analysis, this function can provide useful approach in maintenance of circuit breakers.The text gives out a D-S evidence theory base on the fusion technology, this theory resolve the entire problem or evidence into some sub-problem or sub-evidence, and then use the Dempster combination rules to deal with these evidences, so we can get the dispel of the whole problem. This provides the theoretical foundation to the multi-sensor combination.
