Using EV is the best project to resolve the energe crisis and environment pollution. The ideal energy storage cells are ultra capacitor energy and batteries, which characteristics are prior to nickel-hydrogen and li-battery.The research of the manage energy system of ultra capacitor is still in starting stage both in China and abroad. In this paper, characteristics of ultra capacitor are described in detail first. SOC arithmetic for ultra capacitor is brought up according to the SOC theories of the nickel-hydrogen and lithium battery.Double management system was adopted in the manage energy system of the ultra capacitor, the junior management system and the superior one. Ultra capacitor voltage balancing unit is designed, that is the junior management system which maintains natural operation when superior management system is out of work. Two CAN-buses and three points which are designed as data transfer channel to complete the information collection and data processing and display of data of the capacitor.The software is the core of system. UC/ OS-â…¡, the real-time operating system is utilized; by using which the function is enhanced. The management tasks and transplant to the EPU, TMS320LF2407A are particularly introduced in this paper. The code of core is given.
