Concrete retaining wall with linkage arch is not much used. One of reasons is that the design thought is very rough. At present, the total space structure is divided into horizontal and vertical component and these two parts will be calculated individually. There is much irrationality in this method. It is the key point to make sure the loading characteristic of the built-up arch structure under the interaction of soil and piles. In this article, the general finite element software ABAQUS is adopted to set 3D model and to simulate the construction of pit excavation. Furthermore, it analyzes the loading and deformation of the non-pin build-up arch structure systemically based on the following aspects: the embedding depth, the depth of pit excavation, the thickness of crown, the diameter and length of the springe, ratio of rise to span .In the analysis, it adopted the contrast analysis with the same thickness diaphragm wall in deformation. It places the analytical emphasis on the stress distributing of the crown and springe in bearing loads. And it gives the comparison between this method and project simplified method. The loading analytical results shows: there is much irrationality in taking Concrete retaining wall with linkage arch as vertical component to calculate. There is much difference between the stress ratio in crown and springe calculated with these two methods. In the crown, most external forces changing into horizontal forces leads to the large decrease of the vertical tension stress. The vertical distribution pattern of the axial forces in the arch and soil pressure is not the same. And near the bottom of the pit the axial tension stress appears. Due to the self-accommodation effect which the external force acts on the arch, the stress in the springe gets lesser too.At the last part of this article, some actual project examples analyzed with this method are given to test the correctness of this method.
