The casting process of Concrete-Dam is made of producing concrete, transporting concrete and pouring concrete, which is involved in various factors, such as environment, structure, technique, concrete productivity and efficiency of cranes. Computer Simulation of construction process, with considering all interrelated factors, can make a reasonable schedule. But most existing researches in current simulation concentrate on the technical flow of the process, i.e. producing concrete, transporting concrete and pouring concrete. The construction system runs under some constraint condition ideally, which doesn't consider the interaction of owner, the designers and the contractors? Mostly the construction system is an organic system with the owner, the designers and the contractors. The research of the interaction of the three entities, which will make the simulation more flexible, practical and real, is the direction of the computer simulation development. The Agent-Oriented Programming Methodology (AOPM) provides an effective method for simulating the working process of the entities in system. This paper analyzed the working process in construction systemically combined with AOPM, researched the interactions of the entities, and built the Agent-Oriented simulation model of concrete-dam construction. This paper constructed the agents in the simulation model and researched the knowledge base, inference machine and also the realization of the agents in the concrete-dam construction simulation system by combining the AOPM with discrete-event simulation method. Finally we developed a simulation model of concrete-dam construction simulation system.
