Research On Configurator Of Substation Based On IEC 61850

IEC 61850 is an international standard which is proposed by IEC TC57. The seamless communication of power system is based on the IEC 61850 Standard in the future.The development and main idea of the standard are introduced in this paper.The main technical features of network leveling,unified object-oriented modeling,data object self-description abstraction of communication service mapping tec. Are analyzed in detail.SCL(Substation Configuration description Language)is defined in IEC 61850-6.Object model of substation is described by SCL.The main idea of SCL and the leveling data model described by SCL are introduced in this paper.According to the data model described in SCL,author put forward to design the SCL configurator.The configurator provides a visual edit interface to configure and browse SCL document.At last,some aspects such as graphic platform of SCL congfigurator have been discussed in this paper.
