The Research Of Flow Measurement And Monitoring System Online For Coal Powder In Power Plant

During the running of the boiler unit in power plant, the monitoring of coal-powder's flow states in primary air pipes has much significance for the stability,security and benefit of boilers. Furthermore, the accurate measurement of coal powder consumption is important for improving plant's production and economic benefit. Based on the investigation of the correlative research home and abroad, the paper abandons the traditional monitoring theories and designs a simple and powerful monitoring system, by which we could monitor the coal powder's velocity,concentration,flow and accumulation online, and at the same time, the system has many other functions such as alarm. Through experiments the system has been proved that could monitor the flow information of coal powder effectively, and could measure the consumption of coal powder accurately. While optimizing the boiler unit's running, the apparatus can improve the plant's economic benefits and prevent accidents effectively.
