| Jet heat exchanger with peripheral steam entrance was chosen to be researched in this paper; every ingredient structure and its operating principle were analyzed, too. According to the two-phase flow characteristic in the mixing chamber, a series of assumptions were carried on, and a simplified mathematical model of the boosting performance and exergy efficiency on the steam jet heat exchanger with peripheral steam entrance is developed basing on one-dimensional conservation equations. Moreover, the key factors that affected boosting performance of the exchanger were analyzed, which were the inlet steam pressure, the inlet water flow, the inlet water temperature and the throat area of mixing section etc. According to theory model, calculation was compiled by programming, the relations between every influencing factor and boosting performance were quantitatively analyzed, also the boosting characteristic curve in different condition were drawn out. The work is beneficial to further developments and application of the steam jet heat exchanger with peripheral steam entrance. |
