The Research Of Motor's Adaptive Protection

The motor is the abroadly used electric equipment in the industry production and daily life, therefore, it is important to protect the motor reliably and effectively. At first, this dissertation summarizes the characteristics of adaptive protection and its development direction, and analyzes the status quo and disadvantages of relay protection on motor in distribute power systems nowadays. Then the dissertation give the project of adaptive protection on motor. The equipment judges the running state of motor, so that the set value of over-current quick-break can adjust adaptively; the equipment uses the variate-rate of impedance at input port as the characteristic value to judge locked rotor during the starting process.With the theory of motor developed, the research of adaptive protection equipment are analyzed in this dissertation. This work includes the project of the equipment's hardware and software.
