The safety and the reliability for power supply system and the operation of the line of power supply are more and more high with the development of the market economy and the increase of the demand of power supply, traditional protection way can not satisfy the requirement of the power system Along with the increasing enlargement of power systematic scale and the structure of the network of power supply becomes complex day by day. For traditional protective relaying, their settings are calculated in off-line mode and does not vary henceforth, it cause that the optimal protection can not be achieved. It has two following shortcomings: one is the setting calculated according to this method was not the optimal one in other operation method, the other is the relay maybe invalid in the most serious condition. The adaptive protection is better than the traditional protective relaying in the alternative, fast and sensitivity. The existing electric network not only can convey more power and can also improve the flexibility of the operation way of power system and stability of the system. The key of realizing adaptive protection relay is that how to judge the systematic operation way and fault type real-timely, fast, accurately. The adaptive concept can be defined as follows: Adaptive protection is a protection philosophy which permits and seeks to make adjustments to various protection functions in order to make them more attuned to prevailing power system conditions.First this paper introduced the basic concept and property of the object oriented method, the news mechanism of VC++, object oriented analysis and object oriented design.Second the paper introduced the history of development of the database and three kinds of typical data model, including hierarchical model, network model and relational model. It discussed the shine problem between the object and the relational model data base. It is analyzed that the whole kind of hierarchical structure uses a data entity, concrete kind of each class uses a data entity and each class uses a datum entity. These three kinds of tactics of shining have one's own pluses and minuses.
