The roof garden space is placed on this agenda as the fifth surface of the city. It is known to all that the roof garden do a lot of good in protecting the surface of the architecture, it can control the indoor's temperature and the Urban Heat Island Effect very well. Besides, it creates a new ecosystem and a new outdoor relaxing space for the people. However, the development of our roof garden still drop behind the abroad a lot. The concerned policies and laws of our government is still distempered, our economic and technological ability is still poor. Because of these, people oppugn the possibility of the roof garden's generalization and have some misunderstanding about the new space. My thesis will discuss the reason of the roof garden's sluggish popularization in our country. By discussing and solving the problems of our policy, financing, technology and the old conception about the roof garden, through the analyse of the examples, finding the measure to popularize the city's roof garden in our country finally.
