The radio distribution monitoring terminal designed in this paper is applicable on 10kV distribution network. It communicates with substation or host station of Distribution Automatization System (DAS) by radio and actualizes the distribution monitoring functions.According to soft-hardware coordination design process, total aim and basic functions of the terminal are confirmed at first. Then after the whole design and the partition of soft-hardware, the material design and development of software and hardware are elaborated. STMicroelectronics's 32-bit STR710FZ2T6 based on ARM7TDMI is selected for MPU, and ATT7022A is chosen to measure the power. And it integrates g20 based on GPRS and BM3-800M based on Mobitex to realize radio communication. The development environment is Embest IDE for ARM. The distribution monitoring functions, such as telemetry, telesignalling, telecommand, power energy acquisition, data conservation and uploading, alarm, SOE, time setting, display and communication, are actualized on theμC/OS-Ⅱ.It accords with the demands of distribution terminal for intelligentization, miniaturization, multifunction and communication multimode.
