In the base of research on the basic structure and the operating principle of the ACexcited VSCF wind power generation system, this article used the PSCAD/EMTDCsimulation software to establish the system model, to dominate the power generating state bythe rotational speed closed-loop control strategy, to master the interconnection with theno-load interconnection strategy. The dual PWM Converter is also designed to satisfy thespecial requirements of the system.This article innovation spot is the research and the corresponding improvements to thephenomenon that the active power will surge when wind speed jumps.In this paper, the complete interconnection has been emulated, the way of selecting therational interconnection point has also been given.
