The Measurement And Evaluation Of Taxi Driver Safety Consciousness

China has entered the period of high road traffic accident ratio, the road safety situation is very grim. According to the investigation of accident causes, driver's weak safety consciousness and serious violation of the road regulation are the most important reasons for the high incidence of traffic accidents. So driver's safety consciousness is the decisive factors to raise the road safety.Taxi driver is a special driver group because it has huge number and long driving time. Consequently, it is of great importance to survey and analyze the conditions of the taxi driver's safety consciousness and on the basis of which to improve the conditions in order to minimize the possibility of accident and thus to improve the safety management.Basis on previous studies, author analysis the taxi driver's safety consciousness according four aspects: psychological, professional quality, safety attitudes and safety attitudes tend. Then the author uses measurement of psychological scale production method and other means, such as literature, interview with experts and drivers, the sample tested and SPSS statistical analysis, to get the high efficiency of safety consciousness evaluation scale.Later, the safety consciousness scores, rankings and the key factors affecting safety consciousness of taxi driver can be got from taxi driver investigation by the safety consciousness scale.Finally, author makes recommendations for how to enhance safety consciousness of taxi drivers and improve safety management level.
