In the process of national economy and defense technology, it is very broad and important for the application of the AC speed regulation technology. With the development of various technologies such as motor control, Vector Control (VC) and Direct Torque Control (DTC) appear one after the other. Hereinto, VC is been applying broadest for it's excellent performance. And with the development of the power electronics and microprocessor, digital speed regulation system becomes trend and aim for development.First of all, the paper design a basic VC system for three phases AC motor, and the traditional PI method is replaced by Internal Model Control (IMC) to be as the speed regulator, then Simulink/Powerlib is used to simulate respectively. Because induction motors'character are high order, non-linear, strong coupling and multivariable, IMC speed regulator can restrain overshoot so that it has better static and dynamic performances. Then speed sensorless VC system is designed. It uses Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) and three speed identification models to design speed estimator for online identification, then speed is fed back to compare with input and regulate. The simulation results show that the model based on stator current has is more robust to variations of motor parameters and precise. Finally, an experiment platform based on DSP for AC motor speed regulation is developed where DSP chip TMS320LF2407 is special for motor control. The paper introduces Intelligent Power Module (IPM), DSP and interface circuit of every unit, and then software and program are implemented. On the basis of the platform, V/F open loop speed regulation system experiment is completed and the results are analyzed.
