As we know, diesel engine has good performance and low fuel consumption. In the developed countries, 100% of heavy-duty trucks use diesel engines. In Europe, 20% of cars and 90% commercial vehicles use diesel engines. With the rapid development of diesel engines, we consider it is most important problem to reduce emissions. At present, the heavy-duty trucks with in-line 6-cylinder diesel engines in our country, mostly only meet Euroâ…¡emission standard, and are unable to meet the more stringent emission requirements and regulations. In order to enhance market competition, the beginning of this century, we are developing new diesel engines to meet the market demand for heavy trucks in China.This paper is based on CA6110ZL diesel, High pressure common rail technology is used to meet the Euro III emission regulations. From in-line pump to electronic common rail system, fuel injection pressure has got a greater improvement. Injection is more accurate and combustion is better. High Pressure Common Rail and the pre-injection pump nozzle are the key technologies to get high power, good economy and low emissions. We have improved the old intake system, confirmed a new inlet swirl ratio; improved the cylinder head to reduce heat load of cylinder, head, improved combustion system: redefined compression ratio; changed combustion chamber shape. Then detailed describes the deformation of cylinder, deformation of cylinder jacket, the cylinder net improvements, stretch and shape of the piston ring and cylinder cooling match., and using CFD simulation to calculate. the water jacketChapter IV introduces using high pressure common rail technology to meet the Euro III emission regulations. the relationship between fuel consumption and NOx ,and using r maps to optimize the main injection timing, pre-injection volume, the time interval between main injection and pre-injection, and common rail pressure.Chapters V give a summary of this paper, and the goal of the future development. This paper is summarized as follows: this paper is based-on CA6DF series diesel, through simulation, conceptual design, matching system design and test, successfully developed a new series engines to meet the European stage III emission engine. In this paper, the practical value:(1) By conceptual design to put forward constructive views, CA6DF3-24 diesel engine design has wide applicability and will shorten the development cycle and reduce the cost of development.(2) In order to meet the Euro III emission regulations, we must change the current product of diesel engine design, and can be completed within a short period to achieve conversion products. The production lines of products require lower equipment costs.Currently, CA6DF series diesel engines have been mass production and have good performance, economy and reliability, and have got the users'welcome. |
