Development Of The Motormeter Based On CAN With The Embedded Linux Platform Base On ARM Processor

With carefully analyzing final demand and learning from the last two generation of the motormeter, we made a whole consideration to the overall plan and the choice of the component. We use ARM7 chip with an embedded Linux operating system to build the control board, and develop a transplantable system of data storage which used U disk.The motormeter based on CAN has got great development from the first two generation ,but it is also some problems in it .So we develop the third generation motormeter which used HMS30C7202 ,the chip is based on ARM7 and has very complete functions, for example almost all interfaces are integrated, special drives to facilitate the use of the process are also particularly stable ; we use the LINUX2.4 kernel, configured as our need USB, LCD, IDE, and other choice, through LCD data be displayed , we rewrite a part of the driven process and made optimization and testing.The system of data storage which used U disk is very important too .With the consideration of data storage in using the motormeter and in the other workings ,we developed the system of data storage which used U disk .The system which is transplantable uses U disk to store data ,that makes the storage of mass data possible .The system has been completed already and now be testing in our work.
