Study On Architecture Reconstruction Of Traditional Industrial Buildings Towards Creative Industrial Park

With the development of economy and the upgrade of industry structure, many old industrial buildings are facing back out or to be reconstructed, in order to fulfill the need in the new era. On the other hand, the creative industry is thriving in dire need of a lot of fit buildings. It is an ultimate instrument to reduce the pressure for both that reconstructing old industrial buildings towards creative industrial park (CIP), and it will benefit the progress of industry upgrading and the whole economy. So, study on architecture reconstruction of traditional industrial buildings towards CIP is a theme with magnitude significance on theory and practice.Up to date, most studies in this field focus on the reconstructing of old industrial buildings or the architecture demand of the creative industry separately, seldom linking them together. The gap above is expected to be fill up in this dissertation, after the systematic tiring of the progress process of old industrial buildings' reconstructing and the creative industry, the theory and practice reconstructing methods of the traditional industrial buildings towards creative industry are explored, and based on these rules, a feasibility analysis of reconstructing for an actual old industrial buildings cluster towards creative industry park is given.In detail, four pieces of work have been done in this dissertation, generalized as such: (1) Theory analysis of reconstructing from old industrial buildings towards creative industry park. In this part, the linking practice process of old industrial buildings and creative industry park is reviewed, then the economic value of this linking is discussed, and the rebuild modes are summarized, what is more, the prevalent ways of the reconstructing are explored. (2) Practice analysis of reconstructing from old industrial buildings towards creative industry park. Four typical cases of reconstructing from old industrial buildings towards CIP, including Dashanzi art society in Beijing, LOFT49 in Hangzhou, OCT-LOFT creative and culture park in Shenzhen, and Binjiang creative industry park in Shanghai, are analyzed, with the reconstructing ideas, methods, and skills are abstracted. (3) Case study of reconstructing from old industrial buildings towards creative industry park: a feasibility report and reconstructing primary scheme for an old industrial buildings cluster towards a creative industry park, which is located in the east yard of Xi'an university of architecture and technology.This article aims to be helpful to the theory and practice development for old industrial buildings' reconstructing towards creative industry park by means of theory analysis, practice analysis, and real case research in this dissertation.
