Nanjing Creative Industry Park Industrial Heritage Landscape Conservation And Reuse Of Research

With the rapid development of creative industry which is a new type of industry in China, creative industrial area has emerged. Today, there is a variety of forms of the carrier of creative industrial area in China, such as the legacy of historic industrial buildings, the business buildings in center of cities, the gathering places where creative workers, etc., in which the legacy of the old factory buildings and warehouse of large-scale production time as the main form. This paper studied the sites in Nanjing while focus on the landscape of industrial heritage sites of creative industrial area. This paper selected three representative creative industrial area transformed from the industrial heritage to do field research, then did analysis and research for how to protect and reuse of the area's landscape, and explored ways suited to their effective development. We made effort to seek balance of the development of creative industrial area and environment, and promote common development of creative industrial area in Nanjing with economic, environmental and social benefits.
