Xinjiang is an area of multiple earthquakes in our country. The housing condition of town and country residents, which has low earthquake-resistant capacity, is poor in part areas, especially in poor areas in Xinjiang. Once there is large earthquake in these areas, it is sure to cause enormous loss. Put the quake-proof and comfortable housing project into effect, thoroughly modify and construct domestics in multiple and liable earthquakes areas, and upgrade earthquake-resistant standard, get rid of earthquake disaster incipient fault, are the effective path to reduce the loss caused by earthquake.On basis of comprehensive investigation and study, according to the principle of earthquake-resistance, economy and simple construct, this article put forward a structural scheme of half-timbered house which is coincident with the practical situation in Kashi, Xinjiang. EL-CENTRO wave, SAN FERNANDO wave and manmade wave were input in the shaking table test investigation for 1/4 model. The article studied on the reaction of half-timbered house in difference earthquake intensity, and verified the capacity of resistance under highly seismic earthquake.After observing the test phenomenon of the model, and making spectrum and waveform analysis, the main conclusion can be arrived as follows:1. Roof of the model structure has well connected, and there is no damage phenomenon; in the situation of highly seismic, the damage of wall mainly concentrated on two gables and the bottom of the structure, which indicates that these sections absorbed more earthquake energy.2. The entire stiffness of single-deck half-timbered house model which has constructional column and bond beam is larger. The capacity of earthquake-resistance is higher. Meanwhile, it didn't collapsed when suffering the nine degree big earthquake, satisfying the demand of eight degree basic protected intensity.On the basis of the test results, the article used finite element program to analyze the original mold of half-timbered. Then the calculated natural vibration frequency of original mold, stress and displacement nephogram are individually compared with natural vibration frequency of the original mold, deduced from test model, and the damage phenomenon, to find the two results are coincident well.The study of the article provides some theory accordance for the generalization of Xinjiang quake-proof and comfortable housing project. It makes a basis for accelerating the popularization of half-timbered quake-proof housing in rural earthquake areas of Xinjiang.
