Preservation Study Of Danfeng Gate Site Of Tang Daming Palace

Daming Palace site was listed by the State Council as one of the first important national key protection units of historical relics. Daming Palace is the major palace resided by most of tang emperors and a major headquarter of Tang Dynasty to deal with political and foreign affairs. The Danfeng Gate is the official gate of Daming Palace and the main passage for emperor's coming in and going out of the palace. To the north of Danfeng Gate, there is an imperial roadway leading directly to the Hanyuan Hall, the main hall of Daming Palace. In September 2005, the Xi'an Tang City Archaeological Team excavated the ruined Danfeng Gate site.The paper belongs to the preservation study of Danfeng Gate site of Tang Darning Palace. The main content as follows: evaluating the value of Danfeng Gate site, which is according to historical references, practical investigation, and excavation study; summarizing the key problem of the preservation study, which depends on problem analysis and potential analysis. In terms of the preservation theory of the current national cultural heritage, research deeply on the connotation of the site, change the negative preservation to the positive preservation; confirm the method of preservation of Danfeng Gate site. The paper also pays much attention to the original state study of Danfeng Gate. At the end, the preservation project of Danfeng Gate site was finished, which is proposed on the contents, methods, working points and key problems of the current preservation of Danfeng Gate site.
