The sliding isolated structure is the best a seismic way that adapt to the situation of our country, which performed very well while the earthquake coming, it will be applied widely because of its facility, convenience and credibility. However, there is no good means to control the displacement. In this paper, the sliding displacement of sliding isolated structure will be studied to discover the main factors that affect the sliding displacement, so that to avoid the blindness to the displacement in the design.In this paper a three-story frame model is studied by ANSYS which is a numerical analysis program, in which the seismic input motion parameters(amplitudes, frequency spectrum and lasting time), structural dynamic parameters(damping ratio and periods of free vibration), coefficients of friction, the sorts of site and loading both earthquakes and so on, have been considered. The varied laws of the sliding displacement affected by the over factors. Finally, the scope of parameter selection and the application for the design of sliding displacement are put forward and can be the reference for the design of sliding structure.
